The Apple Hotel Torgglerhof in Saltaus provides the ideal starting-point for a family cycling holiday. From spring to late autumn, the special microclimate in the Passeier Valley provides the ideal conditions for a cycling holiday.

The Passeier Valley Cycle Track passes next to the Torgglerhof, leading to the Spa town of Merano or to St. Leonhard, along the Passer River. The Hirzer cableway station is just a 5-minute walk away allowing mountain bikers to easily reach the summit and explore the fun trails and exciting downhill tracks of the Sarntal Alps. Cycle racing fans can experience the ascents on the Timmelsjoch and the Gampen Passes.

For our guests, the Apple Hotel cycle park is free of charge and there are city bikes, children's bikes as well as two mountain bikes to choose from. In addition to the bikes, there are helmets and child carriers. Our electric bikes are available for rental at a fee (from € 10.00 – € 15.00 per bike/day).
