Your Apple Hotel

Family Holidays at the first Apple Hotel in South Tyrol

The story of the Torgglerhof begins with the apple. After taking over the Torgglerhof farm from his parents, Sepp Pichler opened his 15-room guesthouse and planted several apple trees. After years of careful tendering, the trees started to bear fruit while the guesthouse also expanded. Surrounded by magnificent orchards spanning a hectare, the Apple Torgglerhof in Passeier Valley is today an elegant 3-star hotel with 28 tastefully furnished rooms equipped with all the necessary amenities, including swimming pool and sauna. The hotel restaurant prioritises local ingredients and the sumptuous and ever-varied fare is simply not to be overlooked!

The Pichler Family and staff do all they can to ensure that guests at their hotel in Passeier Valley have a rewarding experience. Located near Saltaus, our hotel is immersed in the lush, green countryside and is just a few minutes drive from the Spa town of Merano. A hike or a bicycle-ride literally starts the moment you step out of the hotel.

Those preferring to relax in peace and tranquillity in the hotel garden can take a dip in the swimming pool or enjoy a sauna. Since our hotel is reliant on its capable staff, the team at the Apple Torgglerhof is committed to providing our guests with the warmest and friendliest personal service each day.

For us, friendliness and hospitality are fundamental elements underlying our service philosophy.

Your apple tree

We’d like to believe that this mini-paradise of ours is set to continue growing and in order to thank our regular guests for their patronage of five consecutive years, we have decided to plant an apple tree in our garden in their honour.
