The mountains in South Tyrol are fascinating enough in themselves but a view from the summit is a truly unforgettable experience. The Hirzer cableway station is just 5 minutes on foot from the Apple Hotel Torgglerhof, which more intrepid guests can use to reach the halfway station (1,404 m) or the upper station (1,980 m), for a paragliding launch.

A flight in silence across the mountains with spectacular views of Merano and surroundings, the Sarntal Alps and the Texel Group Nature Park is a dream come true. The magnificent Dolomites can be seen in the distance – thermal currents permitting. Enjoy a flight over mountains and valleys in the company of the experienced instructors, Ossi and Hans and descend with a soft landing in the field right next to our Apple Hotel.
